Welcome to day 27 of the 30 Days of Gratitude!

Today I am grateful for my quiet time.  I cannot tell you how much I really enjoy my quiet time.  I find myself waking up before the sun so that I can spend my time alone with my cup of coffee and my bible in the mornings.

Many times throughout the day I find myself putting on my headphones just to cancel out all the noise outside of my head, and sometimes they also cancel out the noise inside my head too.

I love my time to reflect and to plan.  My time to ground myself and to dream beyond the here and now.  My quiet time recharges me and allows me to get better in sync with my inner self.

I find that during this year especially I have needed extra quiet time to reground myself.  I’m sure we all have needed the extra self care time this year in particular.

On those days that I find myself rushed without the time to sit in the quiet and gather my thoughts, I find that I am super grouchy and really no fun at all.  I really do then try to get in a few minutes of quiet breathing for myself.

I am grateful to be able to have my quiet time.  I probably can say that my family is also grateful for my quiet time, hahaha.
