Welcome to day 23 of the 30 Days of Gratitude!
Today I am grateful for books. Books are absolutely fantastic.
I have learned so many things from books. How to cook, crochet and how to garden. Books hold the knowledge to so many new things we can learn to do. We can learn how to do practically anything.
Books also offer an escape from reality. We can be a detective on a murder case. We can be an explorer of new planets. We can fall in love with the wrong person and it seems to always work out in the end. We can be swept off into lands of knights and princesses. We can see if Froto made it to Mordor.
Books hold life lessons in biographies and memoirs of others who have led a much different life than we have. I have always thought it fascinating to learn how people have lived in other time periods and in other social classes.
There are also books that you create yourself be it a diary, a business idea journal, or a bullet journal. These books keep record of your life and the thoughts you have had.
I am so grateful for books from learning, exploring, and journaling, books are an important part of my life and a huge part of my selfcare.
