Welcome to day 18 of the 30 days of Gratitude!

I love planning out my meals. It saves me so much time, stress, and money.  It definitely saves me frustration every night when I ask “What do we want for dinner?” and the replies are probably the same ones you hear.  “I don’t know.” “I don’t care.” “Whatever you make.” Sound familiar?

When I started meal planning, it really was to save money and time.  I would walk back and forth between the refrigerator and the pantry and stare inside trying to figure out what to make and end up making something unhealthy at a late hour just to get us fed and into bed.

I am so grateful for meal planning.  I sit down once a week or every two weeks and plan out my meals.  I am able to write out my meals for my kids and for myself so that we can eat healthy affordable meals daily.

Life has become easier when it comes to what’s for dinner.  I was using a plain sheet of notebook paper, but now I use these to add color and to save time.

I am so grateful for meal planning, I feel life it has freed up so much of my time and eased my frustration.  I hope to never go back to winging it again.
