It is absolutely crucial to have goals. Goals give us direction and something to strive for. Many of us have goals that we don’t outwardly say or write down to make them “official”, but we have them none the less. Some of us actively envision our goals on a daily basis to manifest them into reality. Some of us just Dream our dreams but never take the steps to make them come true.
A few years ago I decided to have 1 big goal for the month instead of many goals. My Big goal for this month is to Meditate. Now there will be smaller goals that correlate with the large goal. This will help me to accomplish my master goal for this month and to set into my routine what needs to continue from there.
To Meditate I must:
Be consistent. On a daily basis I will set aside either morning or afternoon time to meditate. I’m not very good at this yet and I know I will need to build up time meditating. Some days I’ll get outside to take in the natural landscape, some days I’ll do a guided meditation, on other days I’ll just sit with just peaceful music and breathe.
Additions. I would like to try some new guided meditations and breathing techniques. I would also like to try some new outside locations to meditate this month. I would love to meditate near water and in a higher altitude location.
Keep improving I want to keep motivated by rewarding myself. I love trying new hobbies. I love house plants. Instead of rewarding myself with yummy goodies, I want to reward myself with craft classes, houseplants, stationary, solar light garden decor, garden seeds, workout equipment, and craft supplies.
