Welcome to day 4 of my 30 Days of Gratitude!
My friendships are important to me. I love the people that have been put into my life. I have had long friendships and short ones. Some I have learned hard lessons from and some I have learned how others that aren’t blood related can love you like family.
Even in the ebb and flow of life we are able to just pick up like no time had passed. I am so thankful for the new friends that have just folded me and mine into their lives.
I am thankful for my long time friends that know what I have been going through that check in on me when I am quiet. I never knew friendships could be like having family you find along this road of life. They pray for me and me for them.
I am thankful for the friends that I have made on my journey to find answers and to find myself again. So many people that have come into my life that have helped me heal and grow. I hope that I have been able to also help them heal and grow.
I am thankful for my blogging friends. The blogging community is a wonderful group of people that not only embraces newcomers but encourage each other in our blogging endeavors and campaigns.
I am also thankful for my family members who have become great friends with me over the years. My sister in particular. Over our lives we would have never guessed we would be close friends like we are now.
Friends are family members that you choose. I would never be who I am without these people who have been dropped into my life and me into theirs. People who love me as I am, in my pit and on my mountaintop. God couldn’t have given me better people to love.
