During the month of working on this goal. I drank this mixture every morning except one day when I slept over at my son’s house.
I noticed quickly, a change in my energy. After the first 3-5 days I was able to get up and go without the need for coffee. After the first week, I stopped having cravings for sugary foods and snacks. The first few days, I was satisfying my sweet tooth with Oikos 000 yogurts, fruit, and or fruity herbal teas.
After 2 weeks, I noticed that I have had not consumed refined sugars. At this point I have so much energy that I had a hard time falling asleep at night. Even now I find that if I don’t use up the energy during the day, I have a hard time falling asleep.
A month later. My skin is clearer than it’s been in a long time. My inflammation is down by a lot. The stiffness in my joints and muscles has gone. My energy is still pretty high. My sleep apnea has calmed down. My emotions are pretty good, I haven’t had really any deep dips in a couple of weeks. I’m sure some of this is because of the no sugar also.
This old bod definitely benefitted from this liver detox. It really snowballed into more and more healthy decisions like giving up sugar, getting more exercise, and, getting more things done around the house.
Will I keep drinking this mixture every morning? Absolutely Yes!

It is absolutely crucial to have goals. Goals give us direction and something to strive for, like a purpose if you will. Many of us have goals that we don’t outwardly say or write down to make them “official”, but we have them none the less. Some of us actively envision our goals on a daily basis to manifest them into reality. Some of us just dream our dreams but never take the steps to make them come true.
I decided a while ago to have 1 goal for the month instead of many goals. My goal for this month is to Liver detox
To achieve the Goal of Liver detox I must:
Be consistent. On a daily basis I need to drink a mixture of 1Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar, 1 Tbsp Lemon juice, and 16oz of water. To make it easy to drink first thing in the morning, I’ll mix this the night before in a glass mason jar.
Keep it interesting. I will try to drink this concoction at different times of the day on different days to see how this affects my energy levels and my sleep. I will keep track of the noted physical, emotional, and mental changes that will occur over the next month.
Celebrate Accomplishments. I will reward myself at the end of each week by indulging in a pampering selfcare such as; a stroll at the park, a luxurious soak in the tub, try a new bath product, do a facial mask, paint my nails, learn a new skill, or getting a new herbal tea to try.
