30 Days of Gratitude – My Freedoms

Welcome to Day 11 of my 30 Days of Gratitude!

Day 11 happens to fall on Veteran’s Day. I felt that it would be appropriate to show my gratitude for those who have served or are currently serve in the military and their families.

Throughout history the many branches of our armed forces have fought to protect our freedoms and our independence from foreign oppression. I know there are many who are anti war but it doesn’t stop these brave men and women from fighting for our rights and freedoms.

Many people in the armed forced did not join with intent to inflict harm on others, but to protect their fellow citizens of our country. There are so many military personal that are heads of families, their families follow them to base assignments to other states and countries. in essence when someone serves in the military the family does as well.

I hold our Veterans near and dear to my heart as many members of my own family and friend circle have served to protect this great nation of people. I think they are owed a tremendous amount of respect and even privilege due to their willingness to choose to lay down their lives for their fellow man.

To all of you out there that have served to keep us safe from harm day and night for days, month, years, or decades, you have my most heart felt thanks. I am grateful to you and your family who keeps the home fires burning for you. God Bless you and your family!
